Context is what your assistant knows about your business. A campaign opens on this page. On a campaign for existing customers the same page is called Knowledge. The page has three sections, top to bottom: the assistant’s name, your sources, and the Business Context written from them. Press Save at the bottom to keep your changes, or Reset to throw them away.

Assistant name

The name the assistant introduces itself with, up to 30 characters. Examples: Sarah from TechCorp, Mike - Web Design, Lisa | Marketing Agency

Sources

Web pages, documents and notes the assistant learns your business from. Only their text is kept. Press Add source and pick one: On a campaign for existing customers, the menu also offers Import from another campaign: it copies what the assistant knows from another campaign. Items with the same name are replaced; offers stay. Each source shows how many characters of text it gave. A very long source is marked shortened to fit. A web page that could not be read says why, for example that the page couldn’t be reached or has almost no readable text. Next to each source:
  • Read again (web pages): reads the page again, for when your site has changed.
  • Edit note (notes).
  • Remove source. The Business Context keeps what it learned from it until you update the context again.
Adding or removing a source does not change what the assistant knows yet. Update context does.

Business Context

What the assistant reads before every message. It is written from your sources, and you can edit it as you like, up to 16,000 characters. Press Update context to write it from your sources. The button needs at least one source that could be read. After an update, the page may tell you:
  • Not in your sources: things the assistant may be asked about that your sources don’t answer. Add them to a source and update again.
  • That your sources say more than fits, so the least important details were left out.
  • Later, when you add or change a source: Your sources changed since the last update. Update the context so the assistant knows.
If you edited the Business Context yourself, Update context first asks Replace the current text? Choose Keep my version to stop, or Replace to write a new version from your sources.
Changes apply from the assistant’s next message, in conversations already going as well as new ones.
